Lobo Gardens

Lobo Gardens was first established in 2010 as a campus and community-based initiative of the Research Service Learning Program (RSLP) at The University of New Mexico. The gardens serve as outdoor learning laboratories for UNM students which aim build partnerships between UNM programs, departments, students, staff, and Albuquerque community members, both on and off campus. These gardens give the community the opportunity to learn about agriculture through the first-hand performance of community service.

Mission

The objective of Lobo Gardens is to provide The University of New Mexico students, faculty, and staff with opportunities to educate themselves and their communities about the practices and health benefits of growing one's food in sustainable ways.
